Neligh is home to Pioneer Homes Apartments, a 46-apartment complex that offers affordable housing to low to moderate income, disabled, and elderly individuals. Public housing is housing provided for people with low incomes, subsidized by public funds. While Section 8 allows us to rent apartments at fair market rates to qualified low income elderly or disabled tenants. Neligh Housing Authority consists of 34 public housing apartments and 12 Section 8 apartments.
